Embark on a Journey of Tambula Prasna:

Tambula Prasna, a multifaceted analysis process rooted in astrology, is widely revered in Kerala. It serves as a profound suggestive tool, comparable to a CT scan of your family’s ancestral lineage finding ‘doshas’ and analyzing the root cause of problems. Using the below items Tambula Prasna is performed:

  • Deepam/lamp
  • Oil and wick
  • Tambulam (betel leaves/pan leaves) & areca nut (adakka/pakku/supari)
  • There will be six Lagnas or six points of references, viz.,

  1. Aarudham – taken by an astrologer using sea shells (Kavadi/Varatika)
  2. Udayam – time of the Prasna
  3. Lagnamsam – Navamsa of the time of Prasna
  4. Chatram – derived from the position of the Sun, Aarudham, and Udaya Lagna
  5. Sprishtanga – based on the body part where the enquirer touches
  6. Chandran – position of the moon
  • Tambula Graha & Rasi (derived from the number of betel leaves provided)
  • Other Nimittas
  • Horoscope of the family members

Ashtamangala Prasna, the pinnacle of astrological diagnosis, stands as a testament to the intellectual contributions of Kerala. Just as an MRI scan reveals intricate details of the human body, Ashtamangala Prasna provides unparalleled insights into your family’s dynamics using mathematical calculations (Astro Physics/Analytical Science) and interpretations (Holistic Science). The Ashtamangala Prasna is performed by a family member (usually a boy or a girl child around the age of 10), or by the individual himself, unlike other Prasnas, which is performed by the Astrologer himself. Additionally, two or more astrologers will perform the calculations and readings with suitable discussion before reaching any dosh conclusions.

Unveil Hidden Truths:

Find answers to pressing questions related to your achievements, Kula Devata, curses, health, wealth, progeny, business, relationships, and more. Raashi Chintana uncovers the hidden truths that impact your life’s journey, paving the way for transformative change.

The Three Steps of Ashtamangala Prasna:

1. Invitation Process: The journey begins with a personal invitation to the astrologer. There is no set guide to invite the astrologer. Your intuition serves as your guide in this sacred process. This process is called ‘Priccha’ in Sanskrit. The astrologer, then, will schedule the date for the Prasna based on Nakshatras and other regulations prescribed by Acharyas.
2. Ashtamangala Prasna: Gathered on the designated day, two or more astrologers conduct this comprehensive process, which may span multiple days. Through rituals, calculations, and interpretations, the astrologers uncover deep insights into your familial and personal challenges.

The methods used in Ashtamangala Prasna:

• Prathamaneetham (the item that the person touches)
• Chakra Lekhanam (drawing pattern of Rasi Chakra)
• Rasi Puja (1 to 2 hours ritual where Lord Dakshinamurthi, 12 Rasi and Nava Graha puja performed)
• Position of Gold
• Ashtamangala Sankhya (Ashtamangala Number)
• Tambulam (betel leaves/pan leaves) & Areca nut (adakka/pakku/supari)
• There will be six Lagnas or six points of references, viz.

A proper diagnosis record (register) in black and white will be provided to the family after the Prasna is finished. This will include all of Prasna’s specifics, including the mathematical computations used to generate the interpretations and all corrective actions. The key findings are as follows:
• Devata Sapa (if any).
• Kula Devata Nirnayam.
• Sarpa Sapa (if any).
• Details related to Pitru/ancestors.
• Details of Durita/Sapa (curses).
• Any other relevant details of the findings related to the main subject matter for which the Prasna is done.
• Details of the rituals to be performed.
• Horoscope analysis details and remedies.
• The details of the assigned person to perform the rituals and time frame.
